Today, AIP has a total of eight renewable energy assets in the US. AIP sees great potential in the US energy-infrastructure market, where it expects to invest more than USD 1 billion over the coming two years.
Lasse Helstrup, Director at AIP, comments, “Establishing a local presence in the US has been under consideration for a while. I am proud to be responsible for setting up and leading our organization in New York, where we look forward to welcoming our current trusted partners and building new relationships.”
Kasper Hansen, Managing Partner at AIP, comments, “The US renewables market is one of the most attractive globally with significant potential for future growth. AIP expects to invest more than USD 1 billion into new US projects over the coming 2 years, making it a core investment focus for our current fund.
