Mads is responsible for sourcing and execution of European onshore wind, solar PV, electrified transportation, and debt investments, and was appointed Partner in 2025. He has led several of AIP’s investments, including Agility Trains East, Cross London Trains, and Valorem. Before joining AIP, he worked in the M&A department at DONG Energy (now Ørsted) and as an Investment Director for alternative investments at PensionDanmark where he represented them on several Boards of Directors and Investor Advisory Committees on portfolio investments. Mads has 17 years of professional experience across alternative investments and infrastructure.
He holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics and Economics from Copenhagen Business School.
