Mads Lerche Holstein

Mads is responsible for onshore wind, solar PV, electrified transport investments in Europe, and debt investments. He has led several of AIP’s investments, including Agility Trains East, Cross London Trains, and Valorem. He was appointed Partner in 2025. Prior to joining AIP, he worked in the M&A department at DONG Energy (now Ørsted) and as an Investment Director for alternative investments at PensionDanmark where he represented them on several Boards of Directors and Investor Advisory Committees on portfolio investments.

He holds an M.Sc. in Mathematics and Economics from Copenhagen Business School.
